horn castin threads

Hi one of the threads has gone in the top of my horn casting were the bolt goes through the leggys. I need a quick fix and dont have helicoils/time certs etc so wondered if jb weld would be up to the job if hole filled and tapped. Im asking as i have some but have never used it so not sure of the strenght of the stuff.
