just wanting a budget tune to my px 125 electric start
ive got a simmonini exhaust/24/24 carb so what kit would be best

DR 180 kit and a 22 tooth clutch cog.

Avoid the Pinasco kit as the flywheel teeth rub on the barrel unless you grind the back off the teeth. Don't be tempted to grind the barrel as you will break thru the transfer wall

was looking at the cast barrall then scrolled down like the look of the alloy barral

I like DR "s , for cheap tunes. bolt them onto a healthy engine, up jet the standard carb and stick a cheap pipe on, and I up gear them as well, and they give a healthy boost for not a lot of dosh. only thing with them is they can be a bit tight out of the box, so I give them a good hone out, and chamfer the ports to give them a fighting chance of running in. Asso piston as well as standard. I used one for years on a work scooter, never let me down, and I thrashed the knackers off it everyday.
