JL end can mounting

well, my JL end can mount chucked its guts again, only done two rallies and a bit round the doors with this one...., its the rubber mounted bit onto the shocker bolt...any suggestions on a replacement that wont drop to bits? (third one on this pipe) 2nd time ive had to ride home with it wired up with cables......

See if you can get hold of the guy from TSR. He was having some brackets made that you can fit a regular three bolt can onto. He was aiming at having them ready about now, IIRC.

this for me vespa Matt, not lammy. was gonna make something up, but apparently its a common problem, so it would be a good point out for other peeps as well. :)

My brother uses classic austin mini bobbins. They seem to last longer than the rubber mount thing that comes with the pipe (look very similar though)and can be bought cheaply in any motor factor. Even Halfords have them in stock.

gonna have a go using a modified vespa rear shock mount rubber, that should last a while.

I solid mounted mine using a machined price of acrylic. Been on a year works great
