My rb 22 kit after 6 years

Some pics the two little ports next to the big exhaust port are completely blocked, why has it done this and what are the afects of this ?

Its just carbon, from lack of wide open throttle use. It will just poke out don't worry about it

Without getting into an oil thread/debate, just make sure that yer oil is one that is surposed to be low ash deposits etc. A mate of my brothers with a bike shop used to race 2 stroke crossers and rated Q8 oil above everything else, but stopped using it as the ash deposits were awful and blocked the exhaust port really badly. Just a thought.

shame we cannot see any piccys ,but after 6 years of continual use and however many miles without a decoke in that time i think its good that its still running at all ..those small sub exhaust ports sure will be the first to suffer from carbon/coke build up depending so much on your oil choice and % and how you ride it .
a good decoke may be all that it periodically requires to maintain performance but plz check your ring gaps for wear also
replace the rings if needed ,and clean out the ring grooves also as they can and do get stuck and gummed up ...

I run 3 percent fully syth with shell nitride also put in a additive , the piston and head we very clean so y so much carbon in the sub ports ?

And there is a wear lip below the main exhaust port but rest of barrel is very good
