Guys,
I have changed the conventional GP ramp to the endplate on my Italian GP 200 engine for the LI ramp on the crankcase Dremelled off the ramp to the original endplate), mainly to get myself a higher kicking position once i'd adjusted the ramp to the optimum. With the ramp adjusted to it's best postion, ie; quickest position for allowing the teeth in the kickstart plunger to engage on the 1st gear slots i'm finding there's still a bit of travel downwards on the kickstart............i could move the kickstart around on the splines to get a bit more (if this allows without hitting 1st gear of course) but is there another way ?
Thanks
Adjustment to GP kickstart

its worth trying to adjust the ramp to its "worst" position and then moving the K/S itself anti clockwise on its splines to see if this gives you a better alternative.
Scootering since 1968.
