Jockey in Classic scoot earring

Saw the write up about using the GP cam in the Jocey Boxensthhopp back brake kit regardless wether it's GP or not. I have brought two of these and neither have worked correctly. mine has the LI type cam.

Has anyone tried this and if so any success?

I've used the GP cam on a SIL 200 case - real pain in the arse to set up but once done it works a treat.
