Hi just wondered if a carb that I have just looked at which is a dellorto 28mm phbh (aprila rs 125,cagiva mito according to the description ) would be OK to use on mugello 200 kit, its marked phbh 28 followed by the letters FD, mixture & idle screw are on the opposite side to most phbh carbs. Thanks for any info db67

Im going down the same route with a 26. They seem to have little odd ball changes from the carbs we tend to use on Lambrettas and may not be a like for like.
Mine has a power jet (I think) the shield seen down the throat of the carb is the shape of a 2 stroke one. The atomiser fitted had cross drillings that Im told we dont use. I bought an AV atomiser and its 4 mm shorter. the tube it fits into had a step half way down and this stopped the atomiser screwing in. it cost me 40 quid so I have drilled the step out by 4mm so the atomiser now fits. Going to fit it today so we will see how it goes. If you want a carb that everyone knows and doesn't need modifying to make it work then maybe its not for you.... on the other hand everything I buy ??????
