Trying to get the Cometa back on the road after a long lay up, just got it ready for MOT and now the carb is leaking out of the overflow drilling.

I haven't renewed the float valve, for a red tipped one, is this the likely cause or maybe the float? If so do the ones (valve and float) for Spaco fit the delorto carbs?

I'd say definitely float or needle valve. Don't know about Spaco but if it looks the same I'd try it and see.

I don't have one to try but the spaco ones are available on ebay....i'll wait and se if anyone can confirm.
