have a Ron Moss avanti head on my Rb with one of his fibreglass cowellings. Also had a fibreglass flywheel cowelling from http://www.angliascooters.co.uk/proddet ... ambflycowl . Took a lot of fettling to get the two to marry up, but one of the fixings let go and the flywheel shredded the cowelling. I now need a new cowelling but wanted something a bit trick. Has anyone else had any issues with matching one to a Ron Moss cowelling?
The Pm tuning one looks trick but a bit lumpy price wise, anything similar in fibreglass available?

Not absolutely clear what you are asking there but both my scoots have Avanti cowls, one with full Avanti top end and the other Avanti head on a TS1. Both have a base packed 110 rod) and are mated to shortened Indian deep fin fan cowls with no issues in fit at all.

The issue with the Two not fitting was a combination of things, both parts being fibreglass and having little in the way of flexibility being the main one I think. The other one being that the cowling sat somewhere between a deep one and a shallow one, the fins were so close to the back of the cowling I had to Dremel loads out so they would clear the back of the cowling. At some point one of the fixings let go and the two came into contact...bam.coaster wrote:Not absolutely clear what you are asking there but both my scoots have Avanti cowls, one with full Avanti top end and the other Avanti head on a TS1. I do like the design and may yet get another one or maybe butcher a standard one....
