help required with carb jetting,
hi all,
im hoping someone out there can help me with some carb jetting/setting info,
ive just started to jet the carb to suit my the new kit ive fitted,
ive checked a lot of forums and web pages etc and found some good advice but i just need to get the last bit of help,
ive just fitted a mugello 186 v4 kit to the scoot & and here are the details for the carb, exhaust etc
carb - oko (pwk) 24mm
pilot - 34
needle - jjh 4th clip
mixture screw - 1 1/4 turns out
main - 116
exhaust - af twin clubman
air filter - ramair foam on standard rubber inlet hose
timing - 18 degrees set with timing light
the bike is starting to perform better now that ive started to lean things out as i went for really rich, so just starting to lean out,
do not want to blow a hole in the piston, the breadkinfe would go nuts,
i am asking if anyone out there could let me know if im heading in the right direction & if anyone has fitted this combo before, if so what jet sizes/needle/clip did you use,
your help in this would be greatly appreciated.
hope to hear from someone soon,
massive thanks,
big tone.
