I have the 12v DC Wassel conversion on my S3 Li. The battery is goosed, can I just disconnect it , insulate the contacts and still run the scooter.
This may seem obvious to some but I'm making sure 1st.
I get my kicks out on the floor.

Yes but your lights might be a bit dimmer, why not leave it connected until you get a replacement?

Most DC regulators/rectifiers have a warning message of not using it with the battery disconected written on them.Aparently,it damages the diodes.I think the same might happen with the Wassel, so I wouldn´t run the risk.

The battery isn't charging but it is getting HOT when I try using a battery charger.
