Guys any ideas.........got a gp 200, stage 4 Dave Webster steel barrel with standard 22mm carb through the airbox. Kicking it over and sounds like its trying to start but never quite gets there, then small puffs of exhaust gases coming out expansion pipe (scoots RS chrome job. Its a bit like when I had an issue on the other bike with petrol inside the carb float, but not sure if it's this on the standard 22mm carb float ? Main jet is a 125, normally 118 on the standard carb set up . Any ideas ?

Compression ok? was it previously starting ok and just started doing this, I'm wondering about stuck rings, I've had similar symptoms especially the blow back.

Hi Coaster....flippin strange. Yes compression is ok and went out to it tonite and started 2nd kick and now ok it seems ? but need to try again over a few days to see if it's resolved. The blow back thing was definitely a feature the other day when I tried

it was flooded with excess fuel in the air hose, next time it happens try taking the filter hose off and kicking it over!
