Does ANYONE, ANYWHERE, have ANY idea of the frame numbers of the apple green SX150's?
And did they have a battery. I've a 68 model, bought in boxes, upon rubbing back the paint to try and find I found out the original colour and found the green paint...... It's currently being resprayed in Apple Green regardless but I'd love to prove (to myself at least) whether it's one of the original greenies :-)

probbly the same as ordinary, Silver and Golden Specials- no records kept of what was what.

I know they were late SX's from around 1968, but even at the time I never saw one in green in a dealers showroom.

From what I've picked up over the last few years they seem to run from mid to late-ish production and include the metal toolbox models through to the grey plastic toolbox models, but they seemed to stop before the very late clip on side panel ones which ran right at the end of production. So far, I have not seen a battery tray version. There is a nice production line photo here: http://www.lambrettaeast.com/sx150.html

IF there are no battery tray original green SX150's it indicates that they were not produced for the UK market, as UK regs then insisted that a vehicle had "parking lights"- hence the need for a battery. Which explains why I did not see one back in the day....................unless someone knows different!!

I've an apple green J range, recently posted it on 'show your scoot'. It's a 1969 so it could have been a late colour for Innocenti.
