Ive been bought an "Atomic LED rear light kit" for my GP

I know that you have to fettled the rear light housing but does it actually involve cutting some of the curved plastic section of the reflector away

Just want to get some feedback before i go and cut it unecessarily

I don't know about the Atomic one but I had to take a saw to my indian GP rear light unit to get the BGM one to fit, well worth the effort in my case but I'd probably not wan to do it to an Italian item ;)

The Atomic one is similar to the BGM one and as its an indian housing it looks like the saws coming out then

If it helps, I think I glued mine in once I'd cut the reflector off flush with a wood saw, I used plastic metal taking carte not to get any on the conducting strips...araldite might be safer ;)

I have got one, had to remove the raised dish of the reflector to get two flush flat sides, then used silicone to glue, nice thick bead of it, it absorbs vibration better then straight glue. Bright lights as well.

I didn't have to remove anything on mine. Just drilled a couple of pilot holes thru and used self tappers to fix it

I bought an indian rear light unit because I didn't want to chop my italian one about. Cut it off flush then used silicone. Works great :)
