I managed to get my old Casa Ignition off the GP, but it doesn't fit the Series 3 headset. Anyone had this trouble?
There's no room for any thread to tighten it on.
I know I had this problem on the Series 3 many years ago with the Indian ignition but that was cured by removing the ridge inside the headset.

What series 3 headset? LI can be tough since they were not designed to take a switch with out some grinding on the switch and headset.
SX type shouldn't have a problem.

casa ignitions don't fi the Li-headsets, only the TV/SX-tyle headsets...
Scootrs used to sell a patttern Honda switch with a square body that fits perfectly.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming: "WOW, WHAT A RIDE"
Casa didn't fit my Spanish LI Special.
Had to 'fettle' the inside to make it fit, losing the steering lock in the process.
But prefer to have ignition instead.

They're decent switches but I think they must still have Honda wiring colours.Fruitjuice wrote: Scootrs used to sell a patttern Honda switch with a square body that fits perfectly.
