Yes it would, but so would an AF clubman, much, much cheaper, and easier to get hold of.

Thing is it's all relative in the end. It probably would. But you'd have to push your scooter harder to get the benefit. I don't think exhausts make you go faster. You have to go faster to make them go. There's a subtle difference. So you'd be looking at higher running costs and taking into account the higher cost of the initial purchase for something that might feel lifeless if you are not used to riding at speed. And in the end if your exhaust is going well and you're happy with it why bother?

Anyone tried the V2 BGM pipe? I see they are on sale now (unpainted), supposed to be more power and quieter than the V1.

I have a similar setup to yourself, smallblock AF 200 (66mm piston) 22mm Jetex and AF clubman, clubman was knacked and didn't really want an expansion so went for the MB.

I found a noticeable difference in the midrange and it revs on a little better, well worth it in my opinion as I was looking for a new exhaust anyway.

In the quest for speed running costs go hand in hand. As for going faster I ride flatout. Lol and I am well used to riding at speed

My clubman is on its last legs, so was look at the other options including a new af sloped side clubman and the ancillottis as well. Rest of set up at the moment is bam stator semi light flywheel, 28mm vhst carb and pacemaker gearbox, was 10Bhp on my local rolling road , so might gain a couple of poneys with the bgm

had an af slopey clubman on that fell to bits after about a year, was always too loud and bad fitting.
the mbgm one is miles better and gave noticeable better performance.

Recently bought one of those for my Jet 200. A years life sounds pretty grim, but I must say that the one I got is a superb fit, only time will tell I surpose.
