Seems there's a few that are obsessed by this which is something I know feck all about. Having just had my scoot dyno'd surely the read outs (max speed etc) you get in a windless, smooth environment have no bearing on road conditions..... :?

You are correct Tim.

Tuners aside, apart from the hormonely deficient most people dyno their bikes to achieve a 'safe' set up so that their pride and joy doesn't sieze or hole a piston 10 miles down the road.

Torques and horse power are bonuses if you can achieve them with the first item.
Did you have to do that?

Totally agree john
TS1 and PX stay in the garage (future barn finds) out on the GTS 300 when I go out on a scooter.
I know I’ll get there and back

That's 'cause it's far cheaper to fill a standard tank.

As my brother says "I don't worry about the ever rising cost of fuel, I just put a fiver's worth in anyway".
