Mikuni mixture screw

Can anyone just advise please the mixture screw at front off bell mouth when the screw is fully wound in is this full rich or lean thanks simon

jesus....................... its rich, so many people have already told you this.
put it on the engine and start it up, then screw the screw in and out at tick over and it will be obvious that what everyone has already told you is correct!

that is not the mixiure screw,,, where the fuel pipe goes on the carb look to 5 oclock,, thats the mixture screw,, slot head ,sits in a little recess.

As has been mentioned-thats not the mixture screw- its the tick over screw and looking at that photo you might want to come out a couple of turns....
If you google mikuni carbs theres some good exploded images out there ...

In front of the slide it controls the amount of air, behind the slide it controls the amount of fuel.

I've given up messing about with it now . It's booked in Saturday at shiny red tuning on dyno
