Hi folks,
I'm after a bit of advice and assistance. I am running a TS1 with a DevTour exhaust with the following jetting on a 30mm PHBH:-
Pilot 60
Atomiser AV268
Needle X13 (top clip)
Slide 45
Main 145

I have an Agusto 7000 fitted, with the base timing set to 22 degrees.

At idle I get 170-200 dec C, around town pootling 500ish, and constant 6000 revs 650-670 degrees which appears far to hot. If I give it full throttle the temps quench to 550. I keep tweeking the jetting, and at the moment have a very smooth ride through all stages, but do need to do more plug chops to confirm I'm in the correct ballpark.

Is there anything else I can be looking at the try and get the temps down? I'm using a westach egt gauge and a egt sensor from Skydrive http://www.skydrive.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=EP001%2FS

I'm pretty wary of going on a long trip and getting a seize so all pointers readily appreciated!

My Ts1 runs at 600-650 all day long at wot, with no issues, my stage 4 200 runs about the same temps and if anything is more stable.... Sky drive EGT, JL3, PHBH 30mm, no filter, TS1 has a cam lam power jet..

I shouldn't worry too much, your temps are similar to mine on an Avanti TT3, temps will vary from one set up to another due to the exact positioning of the probe i.e. distance from piston face and how far into the exhaust header it's inserted. Also be aware that your Augusto will have an effect as it starts to retard the ignition as that pushes the flame front closer to the exhaust which causer exhaust temps to rise while actually lowering the combustion chamber temp. It's no use just fitting an EHT, you need to learn to read it and interpret what you are seeing. I've also got a CHT and read together give a better picture of what's going on.

I've got a CHT too, and I'm happy with that reading. I was more concerned that the 650+ was close to the piston melting point and hence prone to seizing. The EGT is a recent addition and as such I haven't had a decent timespan to get to know the normal range of temps.
