Exhaust advice for low down touring.
OK. I have a 200, 67mm piston, 28mm delly carb, reed block & augusto. You may recall a few months back I thread I had about this bloody kegra pipe totally unsuitable for my needs, I put a 16 tooth front sprocket on it & it goes well now with the clubman I bought for it. The revs stay low & it sits at 55-60 no bother with a max speed over just over 70. I would like a bit more grunt though, & wondered which expansion pipe would suit this set up, if anyone has a similar engine, what have you got?

For a torquey touring pipe I would say an ADS3 or a genuine Taffspeed MK 4
Slow is the new fast!

Thank you mi duck. Sorry I couldn't be of any use, but it's really that long since I had a set up like that with an expansion. a.j. - I have just fitted an NK road rally and used it on the C2C run. Really pleased with it, good pulling low down and from half throttle comes on strong, not a revy pipe and able to stay in fourth with no need to drop and rev in third. This is my first expansion pipe and have used previously AF clubman and ancelotti. This pipe is much better with the same ride style (low reving and good low end grunt).
I am running a RT225 with 25mm dellorto, GP gearbox, 18 front sprocket. Different set up but really sweet ride. You will need to match gearbox, sprocket and carb with exhaust so hopefully someone else is running a closer set up to give you advice.

Exhausts are all about matching to gearing so without knowing your gearing it's difficult to advise.
A 16 tooth front sprocket isn't enough information.
I've got Mugello 225 with reed valve 26mm PHBH, 18 x 47, Ind GP200 gbox giving 5.2 final drive, ADS3 exhaust. It'll go up anything in 4th. Had thoughts of making the gearing taller but past experience tells me it's better too short rather than too tall.
