What a cracking day for Scooters at East Kirkby on Sunday with 3 class records broken
Eric Cope ran 13.49 at 100mph blitzing the old record of 16.04 and becoming the first ever fully road legal road scooter to do over 100mph in the 1/4
That old campaigner Richard Baker blew the old record away with a time of 13.27 Shaun Fairhead's old record was 13.46 no doubt he will try to get it back
And finely in the Top Scooter Auto class Adam Chaplin set a new Mark of 12.90 Old Record 13.09
Well done every one the scooter times are tumbling and the speeds going up see you all at York on the 4th 5th May

Did I hold the record from last year at 16.04? I must lose some weight

Seen this all over facebook, Eric did a 13.45 @ 101mph on a demo run which is just a fantastic time and speed for a full bodied lambretta. I think Richard also did a 13.14 , still knocking on the door of the 12 sec club and yes i will be back , a little bit behind on my rebuilt sprinter but should be out in a few weeks.
