Crappy PM exhaust for T5-12

Hi all!

I've been riding my 125 Sprint with a 172ccm T5-engine for a while, and I've been a happy chap about that.
Bog standard engine with a Malossi 172 kit bolt on with MMW head and a 21 cluthc

But due to milage, I've replaced the piston rings.
-I also bought a PM Evolution pipe for the engine, trying to get some more ooohmp from it.

First ride was a great disappointment!!

Hardly any performance unless in the narrow top powerband...
-totally unusable in the mountains here in Norway...

So now the 1 million-question;

What pipe should I get for my 172ccm T5 that gives a decent power increase from the standard exhaust??

Thanks for answers!

Off the cuff you could improve power and increase torquein the required department with:

Exhausts: Sip Road 2, MB/BGM Big Box (when released), Taffspeed.

Or drop the gearing back down to 20/68 and try the PM again.

Cheers

Did you remove the restrictor?

In the down pipe. Looks like a big washer spot welded in there. Won't be up to much with the restrictor intact

Ok Gents,

thansk for the replies!
-I´ve apperantly bought the wrong exhaust...

I need something with a bit more ooohmp from the bottom, not like the PM that gives me a powerband from 10000 and up (at least it feels like that...)

So Taffy Mk1 or Scorpion is the one to go for?
