I have had no issues with the series 2 right through the winter . But the other morning at 5.00 am noticed no tail light or brake light. Rigged up a makeshift rear light with a Aldi bike light off my son's pushbike to get me in this morning

Any ideas what the problem may be :?:

Thanks for any help : )

First thing is to check base of lamp is making good contact with holder contacts. If that's OK then check good earths. Get under the scoot and have a good look at the rear brake light switch.

Here goes spent a couple of hours on this last night much to the wife's annoyance

Changed the switch and the bulb holder, put an extra earth wire on just to be sure. Still no joy

Looking like its gonna have to be makeshift light again :D

Any ideas ?

:D ok Daggs It was the live feed and earth wire I think. Cleaned the earth for good contact, also put an extra one on just for good measure, still got the lads light on the back just in case, will leave it on over the weekend 4 C2c .

All the best mate 8-)
