Hi all, any one changed a mikuni 35mm tmx on a ts1 to another carb and was it any better?
Engine Spec
TS1 230
35 tmx 20 pilot 57 needle 2nd clip from top 320 main no 6 slide mixture 1.5 turns out
nk road pipe
set up on dyno
recently fitted a kytronic smart booste( 26 static) no7 position thought this may help at low revs

Always spluttered around quarter throttle (still did after dyno session)
think the only solution now is to change carb tried everything else

Cheers in advance

Try going up 1 size same clip position on the needle, then if it improves try next size up on the pilot jet, it might clean it up

Thanks for the replies.
jonashford do you mean going up one clip position on same needle to the top position?

56 is richer than the 57 he is running.

30mm PHBH on my TS1 225, plenty carb enough for it. I've heard of lots of people going 'down' from 34 or 35 mm carbs to 30mm!
