Can you buy carbon (effect) sheets that could be cut to go over the outside of an end can? sure I have seen it somewhere.

you could have fun making your own using one of thier kits.. i bought a load trying to make a head cowling for the avanti.. but ended up with something that looked like a german WWII helmet.
they do stick on stuff too that is heat resistant
