Scootrs stainless Lambretta stand - experiences?

I've been waiting for MB to get their SS lambretta centre stand back in stock but it seems as it will take quite some more time.

As a consequence I've started looking at alternatives and would like to know if anyone has tested Scootrs' version?

Is it up for it's job with good fitting or is it made in rubber-metal which will bend immediately?

Cheers V

I've got two scooters fitted with ScootRS stainless stands. Good fit, right angle on the brackets and don't bend.

Cheers both - will give the scootrs version a chance and if it bends like boiled spaghetti I'll go for either MB or Stainless scooter products.

I stopped selling scootrs ones after I had to have all my stock shortened and the brackets re-welded at the correct angle [but I still wasn't able to drill them for the stand pins]. They recently told me that they had re-jigged them and were now ok, so I ordered one to see and low and behold it was fine, even had the holes drilled. Last batch I had was from Stainless Scooter Products and they were perfect, more expensive but offset by the fact that I didn't have to pay air freight and associated costs.

It certainly won't bend, even if you stick it in a vice and hit it with a large sledge hammer.

I've only got one in stock now and it's a scootrs version. Polished variety, the stainless scooter products s/s ones weren't polished.

Basically, as I need to place an order with Scootrs anyway I shoulnd't need to worry about the stand?

I know some of their products are good, others are less so, which is the reason for checking with the expertise here :)
