You need a GP brass thimble, a GP clutch pressure plate, and. GP side casing as it differs from an Li casing.

brain fade has now passed, I think all that's required is an li pressure plate with the thimble  as I have a clutch with a gp type pressure plate

No, you numpty. You asked to change from Li to GP clutch. The side casing has an additional recess to allow for the GP brass thimble. The Li side casing doesn't have this. Or am I being the numpty :?:

To change from Li to GP you will need a new GP chain-case and brass plunger. You'll also need to change your pressure plate to GP. You'll also need to tap and drill holes in your new GP case for the Li kickstart ramp.

1, I have an li type side case .
2, I have a new complete clutch, with the nipple-less pressure plate.

all I have to do is swap the pressure plate for an li type ( with nipple)

no need for side case swap

Your original post asked how to convert from an Li pressure plate to a GP pressure plate. So that's the question I answered.

Now you are saying the opposite.....that you have a GP pressure plate???
