Lambretta Reed petals

Been running a Monza 225 for a few years and the time has come to replace the petals on the reed valve.
What's the best type of reed material and what are the differences.
V-Force seems very popular as do Boyesen dual stage petals.
Don't really want to go to V-force because of the cost, so I would prefer to replace the petals on the existing reed block.
Do I just go carbon 0.4mm?
This is for a 'fast-ish' touring machine running a TMX30, short manifold and ADS3 exhaust, so definately not a high revving engine.

The reed block on the Monza/Imola has a slightly different reed size to the popular aftermarket reed cages, i had the inlet opened so i changed to the standard RD350 reed block, then you have multiple options, i went for the dual stage reeds and works superbly across the rev range.
If you simply want to change the std units then Cambridg Lambretta do an uprated version as well as the factory option.

I've recently bought a Monza 225 barrel and would like to have the inlet opened to suit RD350 reedblock too, where did you get this done Boreham? You might post on here even less than I do...so if anyone else knows where and how much then please reply.
Thanks : )

I had my Monza inlet done by mark broadhurst when he did the touring tune on my barrel. he opened the inlet out to suit rd350 reed blocks which has also allowed me to use vforce reed blocks as an option

Can you say on here how much the work done by MB was? No worries if you don't want to say.
