exhaust advice sought for LIS150

Excuse me if I am asking the obvious . I have read lots of interesting articles about 2x stoke exhaust, expansion and silencing in the past week and I still haven't really found the information I need. Most of it seems to be directed at high performance and racing .

I have a standard original LiS150 engine 1964 so not sure if series 2 or 3 or even if there is any difference between the 2 engines in respect to the exhaust port size and bolt space fixing ect.

I am looking for a straightforward replacement for the standard Italian header pipe and box the scoot came with .

Would a standard 'Clubman' be a good choice ? are they noisy ? is there any performance benefits to fitting a Clubman on a bog standard 150cc ? can I fit a silencer box after a Clubman or standard box ? are there any fitting or clearance issuses I need to be aware of ?

Sorry for all the questions but there just doesn't seem to be an article or faq sheet anywhere with clear answers to these questions and I need to order an exhaust system

A Clubman would work fine. Really you can't have anything too adventurous. I'd probably stick with a standard exhaust to be honest.

I'm having the same thoughts re the clubman. I understand it improves performance but is it that much that it warrants a change?
