As above please. How tight a fit should a woodruff key be in the key way? I've just fitted one and it is very tight and won't move in the slot without a little persuasion. I'm also sure it's stopping the flywheel pulling fully home....

They often need a tap in to turn them in the keyway to get them out, just make sure there isnt any s**t in the keyway. you probably know its not the key that prevents the flywheel spinning on the tapper but its worth saying I ALWAYS grind paste an unmatched flywheel and tapper to ensure the tapper is a good fit to the flywheel!
It only takes a short time and as long as the nut is torqued up you know it will never slip :)
