Hi all

anybody know what squish a standard 200 should be I keep reading
squish should be around 1.2 -1.5 not sure if this is correct and how
you can reduce it if its greater than that without reworking the head.

any info appreciated

Don't know the specs, but if its greater than what you expect, I can't see any other way than getting the head skimmed.

The standard 200 does not have a squish head system, the head does not have the proper angle to match the piston head. It is possible to raise the compression cutting the head but it will never work with 1 mm distance piston to head because the squish angle, the squish band and the proper combustion dome are missing.

The standard 200 design works fine as it is since the 70's but put in a 60mm crank without any packer or changing anything else. Will feel a bit more torquey and rev a little higher.

The standard 200 design is archaic.
