thanx for you replies lads! question was for a bit of background knowledge as to were the jetting is on these 172's, as one of the lads has a problem when coming off throttle and stopping "it's cutting out"...i got him home with a bit of side of the road tinkering with carb, but carb tickover screw and air mixture screw were'nt adjusting throttle response as they can, could be flywheel seal, shite in carb/tank or this n that, i'll know better the weekend...

Now gadge
I got my main down to 125 after doin plug chops, and running 3 % oil, with a sip jl pipe.
I also had similar probs with it cutting out when stopping and coming off the throttle, ended up getting a 24mm Spaco carb which cured it.
