Best clutch for a 220cc PX 21hp engine.
The one I have now is a bit grabby when cold and in traffic when warm I can't get neutral and it can't disengage
Is this the best Clutch SIP "COSA 2" Sport

I have the SIP clutch, superb, no problem and never slips, well made as you would expect.
I had the 16 springs fitted but was a bit heavy, went back to 8 springs and never looked back.

Good, as I have just bought one. Did you buy the SIP pressure plate as well.

Tes, expensive but a simple logical upgrade using a bearing instead of the bush.

I use to use genuine 3 plate clutch soaked ( for a couple of days) and malossi springs and unbanded clutch basket.. on my 225 malossi with just over 26 bhp....
Last year I invested in the carbon 4 plate clutch but with everything else the same...Ive never had any issues but always making sure when replacing the plates to check the basket, thrust washer and any other wear replaced!!!
I know of people using cosa clutches on tuned motors with no long term success....
I abuse and sprint my mine ....... a tuned prange should easily handle this clutch set up
Ive just upgraded to the new MHR malossi with a little fettle and the clutch seems spot on .....

I use a Cosa banded clutch with 4 Malossi springs and 4 standard with no problems: Malossi 221.
