SR also list different shoes and hubs for the J.

They take the time to list 'for early J 275-9 , or late J.

Nige65, I have just spoken with Danny at Scootopia who is a a J guru, and he has confirmed what I thought.
Hubs, shoes, speedo drive, rims tyes etc will all have to be changed.
If you need any info or parts he can advise you, 01934 641811.

If you decide to stick with the 9", I have a legshield spare wheel carrier that doesn't fit my 10" wheel I can sell you

Shaun.
