front hub 1988 px125

would the shaft for the front hub on a 1988 px125 efl be 20mm or 16mm

I"d say 20mm as well. there are a lot of what you would call "crossover m1 and a half" px"s , with a mish mash of mk1 and EFL bits, but by 1988, I"d say all piaggio made PX"s had 20mm front axles. most of the cross over model would be "Y" or "A" regs, whats "88? F reg?

Best P Ranges ever made, A/B (mk1and 1/2). Pre EFL round shape headset with ign, panel locks and auto lube.
'88 will be 20mm. AFAIK post '83 is 20mm.

My 1982 Mk 1 has 16mm axle so sounds right to me Oz.

my Y reg 1983 mk 1.5 is 20mm

defo 20mm would have been fitted at factory on an 1988...... are they original ?
