T5 top speed

Got a t5 classic struggling to get to 60 mph revs through the gears ok but struggles for top end changed the pipe to a Sito but still no change any ideas .

probably this. they are supposed to be changed quite frequently , every 3000 miles or so, but at 20-30 quid a set for piaggio ones , rarely get done. or you need to loose a bit of timber.

Cheek of it loose a bit of timber lol it's had a new top end on it years ago and has been sitting in the garage ever since so not much mileage has been done with the new top end .

How fast should a standard T5 go when read on a GPS? On the Vespa speedo it could be anything from 50 to 80mph

I have same prob with 172 malossi SIP JL pipe and uprated clutch. Wise to try small changes before spending too much dosh.

My Mrs has seen 66mph on sat nav on her Sito'd std T5. I couldn't keep up with it top end on std Rally.
T5s, P2s, Rallys dont do 70.
