px kit or tune

hi guys just got a px 125 engine just looking for a cheap up grade not wanting full on racing spec so kit or tune original i have a 24mm carb and a simmonii exhaust to use any ideas welcome

If you don't want to spend anything at all, just make a 2mm base packer from a piece of aluminium, sand the 2mm lip off the standard 125 head and raise the exhaust port 1mm across its width with a dremel. With the 24mm carb and the Simonini it will go great!
And if you do mess it up it's no big deal as you can just put the 125 barrel on the shelf and get a 166 kit!

this, and up gear it a bit. when ran in they are pretty bullet proof.get it honed out first, they are tight from new.

You can buy a 1.5 packer for a 60mm crank and top it up with about few base gaskets. I just drill/saw/file my own out of sheet aluminium.
