I supposed to have had my MOT today, but my brake light goes off when i press the rear brake lever. Kev and a few others on here have helped but i reckoned the issue got confused by yours truly.

All this happened when i changed the ignition to the new scootrs but have tried the one before again and that does the same. Everytime i press the brake light it goes out.

Checked connectors on brake sensor its 2 pole both red. Just running out of ideas now. All the other lights, horn etc work. I also have a few smaller wires in some pics but they are not linked they goto an aux battery for indicators etc.

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/druist/ScooterLigjting# new setup i know its awful but i am waiting for new bullets etc.##

http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/druist/Wi ... 3997954178 the last pic is how it was before. There is a lot of red
herrings.

(Anyway, Kev if you read this i am sure you were going to answer my email, its just i am trying to get it in the garage today but i doubt thats gonna happen - its not related to the front brake i disconnected it a while back).

If the brake light goes out when you press the pedal, it must have been on before you pressed the pedal, which is clearly not right. I'm guessing it's the rear light that goes out. To prove this, run the engine but do not put any lights on. Then try your foot on the brake.
