Just checked cylinder no marks.
Put pipe in spark plug hole and blew hard in to cylinder
Got another pipe attached to clutch breather nipple and put end of the pipe in a cup of water.
When you blow on cylinder pipe bubbles come out the clutch pipe
So I have air getting into gearbox
As I have said I have replaced clutch side seal and main engine seal
Do you think it still could be one of these or maybe flywheel seal

Flywheel seal wood not allow g/box oil into cylinder. Strip engine down and check clutch seal (right way round ?)....check casings as well (hair line crack ?)

Are you using locktite on the clutch side oil seal? I never after rebuilding my 210 Malossi and had the same problem plus gear box oil leaking in to the crank. Put another seal in there using locktite and its fine.

Used clutch seal that was rubber coated edge.
Didn't use Loctite.
What colour Loctite do you use.
Got green

if the seal has previously spun or has had a few of the metal one in/out use a good sealing compound - I use three bond (yamabond) - it fills/secures and is resistant to oil and petrol and extreme temps.
Use the blue fully coated corteco seal - don't use anything other fully coated brand (KOK etc)

use a metal drive side seal, locktite it in, the green will be ok, (is it 714 or summat like that?, ive used a few different kinds) I use an old piston to tap it home (its an old polini T5 152 piston ground down), I also dot punch the edge of the metal seal into the casing in a couple of places. some recommend the blue cortecco seals lately, but ive had very few problems with the metal ones over the years ,so I just stick with them , and fit nowt else.
