Whilst changing the tyre on my rear hub I have stripped a couple of threads on the rear hub. I have been able to get the old studs out. Is there any issues of replacing these studs with an M8 bolt of suitable length.?
Cheers Bruce

just replaced one in my rear hub today funnily enough! I used a button head allen bolt, tapped the hole and a bit of locktite.

Agree, but use stainless.

I don't think stainless is a good idea for studs, would rather use a grade 12.5 high tensile cap screw. A metal the can work harden is not a good idea for that application.
