My Franspeed Race arrived today and i've exactly the same problem. Managed to "double nut" 2 of the them but the third's proving a problem. Cant get 2 nuts on and if i did it'd be tricky getting a spanner on the back one. Decided to bite the bullet and i'm tack welding the nut onto the stud tomorrow........watch for posts "How to repair a melted casing" :?

I had to do the same to fit my rear bracket for my Fran race, as I didn't need the studs anymore ( got plenty of spare ones) with the nut done up tight use a drift/punch and hammer over the ends of the studs, then jus wind out the nuts and the studs come with them. Make sure you choose the right three studs!!

It's not a product fault, just worn threads and tight studs, in a confined space.....maybe the "problem" is a new product (longer studs, allen headed studs, a decent bespoke extractor, etc ) is needed.

Get some long nuts made up same length as spacer then you can keep the studs in chaincase, attach bracket with bolts on other end, saves using screws in and out of alloy
