Has anyone using TUBED tyres had a puncture while this stuff, or slime etc etc was in the tube and did it work?
Yes I know I should go for tubeless & I will at the end of this year, but not right now.

Had a rear wheel puncture last summer on the RR5 with mates Mrs on the back. The rear of the scoot was trying to overtake me one side then the other. I didn't use the rear barke but off with the throttle and gentle pressure on the front bringing her to a stop still upright. Rusty old nail had been waiting for me left over by the Maquis sabotaging Gerry convoys

I was more worried for my mates wife than myself. I would say the deflation was not instant but allowed me time to s**t me pants and come to a halt under control. Was probably doing 45-50MPH at the time. Yes, it was Slime I had in both tyres and in both my scoots.

had a puncture last week, I use Ultraseal [now named PuntureSafe]. the tyre went down in 30 seconds, so was able to come to a controlled stop, but it would have been an instant blowout without it.
I have replaced a tyre before, and found some of the sealant between the tube and tyre, it had done its job, and I wasn't even aware that I had had a puncture...
So, yes, recommended to use something, could quite literally save your life.

Had 2 rear punctures with puncturesafe in my inner tubes. Didn't know I had a puncture the first time until I stopped....then it started going down. The second time I was 2 up and the back end just went sloppy around corners...ok on the straight. Pumped it up and got about 100 yards then decided to replace with a spare....never be without it.

Had one on last years coast to Coast felt it but gave me more than enough time to come to a controlled stop

I had one last year with tubes & sealant, fairly low speed but still an arse clencher.
Are the above experiences with tubed or tubeless tyres?
