Rapido & a big head

Looking at fitting a big head on my rapido 225, the choices seem to be either a Avanti type or the new MB type? Just a couple of questions, anyone running one of theses heads on anything different from the kits they were originally intended for ( for example rather than a Avanti or RT 225, got them fitted to a rapido, TS1 Mugello etc) & is there a noticeable improvement in cooling? AF sell Ron's as a kit set up for a Rapido 225 (with the bigger cowling) profiled I'm assuming to an Asso piston which I believe is the same profile as a Mitaka piston, which I have. There's 3 fixing points for the cowling,so will I need different cylinder head nuts? MB's also looks a nice bit of kit and I assume will fit under a standard head cowling.Any feedback much appreciated , thank you

Why do you want to fit one?
I've been running a Classic Rapido 225 for 5 years and several thousand incident free miles. A good few of those have been hard riding and with her-in-doors on the back.
28mm Deli and 48mm Clubman now JL3.

Just looking at ways to keep it cool, run this particular barrel all last year no problems (new set of rings that's about it with its winter overhaul), did about 4 thousand miles. At the time was running a Delly 30 or Amal 30 when the mood took me, open mouthed with a 48mm clubman, and static timing at 15BTDC. I think the 15BTDC is a little over cautious even with sh*t fuel & was probably holding it back, so I want to up the timing to 17-18, but know it will stay cool.

I
Have one of Rons heads on my RB and whilst I haven't checked it like for like I have had to drop down to a B7 plug. Ron suggested this a while back and although some people on here felt it was a bad idea it's running far better than the 9 it had on it prev. Plugs a good colour as well. this leads me to believe that it is running a lot cooler with this head.
I may put an 8 in though for longer runs, will see how that goes.
It's a quality bit of kit.
