Had a flywheel break at the boss and it's caught the laminates on the BGM stator plate. You can see a heat mark and it has lifted slightly but does this require repairing or will it be ok as is?

Ive done the same thing on the way to kelso ,sheered off the flywheel at the boss ,i think theres a width problem with the bgm stator as i only fit mine on thursday and it took several goes it line it up with the flywheel ,so it did not catch, how long have you had yours on.I had to weld a flywheel remover ,to what was left of the flywheel, to get it off the crank.
anyone can buy a dremel, but does that make them a scooter tuner

It wasn't a problem with the BGM, used one for ages. The flywheel was changed recently (65 miles ago) to one that was lightened and fitted with a plastic fan, it left too little metal around the boss and snapped along the welds, I suspect the welding didn't help either
