Steering lock

Is it possible to get a steering lock out of a vba without the key .Thanks

not sure if its the same as other vespa locks ie on steering column if so drill out rivets on cover once you get that off drill thru pins just above keyway youl then be able to operate lock with a screwdriver and remove it

You don't need the key to remove the lock from a VBA. You have to drop the fork out of the frame, remove the retaining ring from the lock and then the lock assembly can be removed from the inside of the frame.

Done it ...just needed to release the threaded cover with some penetrating oil first
