I was getting on fine fitting a watsonia bambini sidecar to my scooter until it came to fitting the sidecar body. There is not enough room in the wheel arch for the wheel and suspension, the tyre rubs on the body. I wonder if anyone with a similar sidecar can help, perhaps with photo's of the how the suspension should be fitted together, please? I may have it wrong but there looks to be only one way to have it. The sidecar has the torsion suspension system.

Hi,
Have you got pics of your setup? I thought all Bambinis has vertical spring arrangement? Trailer-esque torsion suspension is more common to squire.

I got the sidecar from Anson Classics and the guy said all new Bambini's have torsion suspension now. My old bambini many years ago had the spring type you mention.

I should imagine that they'll have an aftersales and set up service, have you tried them?

Did not discover the problem until Christmas Eve after they closed form the holiday and not sure when they will re-open.
