I have just rebuilt my px210 malossi engine and took the carb apart to check for anything that needed replacing or cleaning, I noticed that the one side of the float was full of petrol. This is not right I’m sure,but thought I would check with you guys first. Its a 30 mm PHBG.

The float needs replacing. I recently found this to be the case with a mate's 1 year old PHBH on his TS1. I put 2 pin holes (one drain, one vent) in the leaking one so that we could drain it, then seal it and use it until the replacement arrived. The following week I stripped it to fit the new one and found that the temporary repair had worked fine, however, replacement is the best option.

My pal's TS1 was running like a rich bag of s*** until we repaired/replaced the float, which instantly improved the carburation (back to correct).
