Hi guys, got a polini 180 kit with a 24mm carb, Venturi filter and polini exhaust . Jetting 3BE mixer, 118 main, 55/160 idle, 160 air corrector. Starts buts I can't seem to get it to tick over, do I start with the mixture screw at the back of the carb if so how many turns out would be a good place to start?
Thanks

For a start your main jet is way too small with that venturi kit thing.
Even without it i used to run a 125 main jet.
I'm sure it says go up at least 8 points with the venturi kit.

Forgot to say my casings were ported to match the kit but you must go up with the venturi kit.

Definitely go bigger with the Venturi, I'm running a 122 without, 55/160 3be mixer and 140 air corrector.

Maybe check the tickover screw as well as the mixture screw. If the mixture screw is slotted then 1 1/2 turns if not then 2 1/2. These are just starting points.
