Not sure if this is as daft as it sounds is there any difference between an Indian and Italian gp lens unit
Not the rim just headlight only I have bought another Italian remade headset they arn't that bad once they have been
Dremeld but the headlight is rather tight in the rim if that makes sense, I can't really file the glass down I think
I may have been just lucky with the other one I had, seen one on the bay witch says go headlight Italian size?

As far as I know there aren't many aftermarket headlight lenses that are perfect Innocenti copies and they can vary in dimensions.
Supposedly, Casa Lambretta ones are quite good, but I don't have any first hand information about that, yet.

I'm also curious about these, sold by PM Tuning. They claim they are better than Innocenti's. Better beam focusing, lighter weight, better switch block, etc. http://www.pmtuning.co.uk/bosatta-lambr ... onate-type

Ditto, I'm waiting for some feed back. Got the Jet headlight from Jockeys Boxentop and that made a real difference. But the fitting was another thing.

Looks good, but cheaper at Cambridge Lambretta. Actually, by the time you've faffed around trying to get a half decent Indian headlight unit you might as well buy one of these.

I bought one of the PM ones for my GP last year. However, I had to return it.
It was a lovely quality item and the wiring block was the best I've seen. Unfortunately it was too wide to fit into my headset though.
The pivot pins just stuck out way too far - I think they were about 6mm wider than the headset and even if I'd filed them down to fit, I think the pins would have been so small they wouldn't have worked properly. Shame as it was a nice unit but I went with an Innocenti clone one from SR in the end & it fitted fine.
(if I'd got it earlier I could have maybe ground down the headset internal a bit but not after painting!)

I bought one of these and it fitted fine, the light is a bit better but still shite. (Aren't all Lambretta lights) for some reason the halogen did discolour the bulb holder so I'm using a regular bulb.
