Hi, not a vespa man. Its a vespa veloce sprint 1971. what badges would go on the front legsheilds (what is the proper badge and what will it say ?) please. The holes are about 4 and a quarter inches apart on the legshield one and I think the middle hexagon badge would say piaggio In blue??

The block font 'vespa' badges didn't come out until 1974. So it should have two cursive script badges on the front. The 'Vespa' script badge diagonally placed across those two holes and a 'Sprint' script badge underneath.

Above the taillight it should have a single cursive script badge 'Sprint Veloce'.

Check the SIP website it has the pin measurements and the corresponding VINs for particular badges.
